Ruddy eck!

I thought they would give him a few more games. I always thought that going straight from league 2 to premiership manager was a bit too much of a jump (although some have started their managerial career in the Prem).

I saw Blackburn play in pre-season aganst Wolves (Wolves 4-2 Blackburn). After that game I predicted that either Wolves would get promoted, or Blackburn would get relegated - I wish I had put some money where my mouth was!

(Wolves actually scored 6 - two were disallowed for no obvious reason)

Bugger, it's a shame to see a manager sacked after such little time.

Unless your name is Juande.

Would have given him one more game, if they'd have lost to Stoke then wave goodbye.

A manager takes a side who finished 7th last season down to 19th place this season and is sacked 6mths into a 3 year contract.

Indeed. Be interesting to see how many on here who think Adams should be given unlimited time, agree with Ince going...

So, do you think Ince would come to the mighty 'dean if Knight offered him a job? League two to League One would be the natural transition .... would everyone prefer him to Adams??

MK-Dons/Di-matteo-tastic! The sacking the FA didn't want to happen - the first IC3 British manager in the Premiership bites the dust, putting the white glass ceiling back in place.

This is one of the more predictable stories this season.

When will Premiership chairmen learn that you can't just hire a novice manager and expect great things? Ince didn't stand a chance, even with the decent squad he inherited.

Clubs like Blackburn need an Allardyce or a Curbishley. Experience is SO crucial in the Premiership - people predicted bleak futures for the likes of Bolton, Fulham and Wigan but managers like Megson, Hodgson and Bruce have all been around the block.

Phil Brown is a good example of a manager who messed up his first appointment but has learnt and grown from it.
