Brighton Rock is a fantastic film to see historic Brighton. I've just re-read the book, twenty years after first reading it at school.

Its quite surreal actually as a Brightonian, the book describes the characters journeys through Brighton, and it is as if you are following right behind them. if anyone hasn't read it, or seen the film, it is a worthwhile thing to do.

Should be compulsory reading for all Brighton school children.
