I Can't believe I am posting this as I love this man, his interviews are brilliant, great player, got us into the Championship, but for the first time there is a bit of me wondering whether he has got the tactical 'nouse' at this level? I could be completely wrong and we sign a striker in Jan that scores 20 goals and we get automatic promotion, but I just have this nagging doubt!

Of course. He'll be the first to admit that he made a mistake with the line up tonight, he'll learn from it and we'll be stronger because of it.

Definite mistakes tonight from Gus, but no way to I want him out. Be careful what you wish for..... Curbishly/Charlton!!!

assuming he does then great, onwards and upwards.
If he doesn't and feels that was 'the' team to win, then I would be a little concerned.

I know, I know! and still think he is the 'man' but I worry about some of his tactics and just wonder if he needs a older head behind him giving advice?

I've often wondered if he is too stubborn to change his tactics but tonight was the first time I've noticed him changing things early on and all credit to him.

Pork pie land.
No chance! I am bored with him and his tiresome football.

Hopefully we can get some mug to tempt him away and some compensation, or at least him f***ing off in a hissy fit.

Yes, without a shadow of a doubt.

He might have made a mistake with his starting team but all managers do and he made brilliant substitutions and tactical changes. He's already an excellent manager but he is also still learning.

Will he learn? Its becoming a habbit now and all I read on here is thst hell learn from that. Read the same last year and its becoming bloody obvious that he hasnt or cant learn.

One thing to remember is that gus is still relatively new to the management game. Mistakes will happen, bit he will learn (I'm sure).

I agree but we are spending loads on players wages and I just hope that his mistakes don't drag us into terrible debt, especially if we spend 4-5mil in Jan and still struggle to score goals!

Yes.

He got it wrong with the starting lineup tonight, but it doesn't change my overall opinion of him.

Hmmmmmmm. Gus is good and will become even better. If anyone has a manager who will better what Gus has achieved then let's hear about him. People are really short sighted if they believe that Gus isn't good enough for us.
