unfortunately , a bit like any political satire at the moment , the real thing is so ludicrous there is nothing that could parody it. If someone had made a TV show a few years ago depicting the events exactly as they have panned out, everyone would be saying its to far fetched, nonsensical , farcical , the characters are simply unbelievable, even for a parody.
