Good luck!!!
Opinion of the S.L.:-
The Ayr Gold Cup may have a new sponsor in John Smith's this year but the race presents the same quandary for punters with a case able to be made for virtually every one of the contenders.

Didn't take as long as I thought ...............APPALACHIAN TRAIL 40/1 with Hills and I have taken the 70's offered on Betfair.

Large e/w punt tomorrow..... shop around for 50's

If the S.L. is right in that all of the runners are in with a squeak. You are getting a good bet at 40's and even better at 70's with a 27 runner field?

Looking at the Silver Cup today would expect Tamagin to set a good pace on the far side, allowing River Falcon to come through for victory in the last 100 yards. Ishetoo could be one for e/w bets if you want a runner on the stands' side too. Imo.

If, and it's a big if, Skhilling Spirit actually goes into the stalls and then can be arsed to start the race I'll give him a squeak, very risky though as to whether he'll race, he's a bit of cheeky chappy.
