Think bespectacled, bald, rotund, Southern collector with gout....

I couldn't see any on my flight until they mentioned the delay then a load of pissed voices piped up.Malpensa, standing in the queue to board and there are Brighton fans everywhere
Itās Piazzale delle Canestre which is not far from Vatican City.To save me reading through hundreds of posts, from where do the shuttle buses run to the stadium? I'm staying not far from Vatican City.
Seems quite polite to just advise him of his intentions rather than immediately get all stabby.not a good start to this person's time in rome
I got stopped on a bridge this afternoon by a couple of blokesā¦..thought they were about to embark on some kind of tourist-fleecing scam as they asked where I was from etc etcā¦ā¦..ended up with them shaking my hand and saying they hoped we beat the āRoma scumā 3-1 and saying they were Lazio Checked all my pockets a few moments later and nothing was missingnot a good start to this person's time in rome
I find this whole fly months before your passport expires extremely odd. Surely if you can't use the bloody thing to travel abroad because you have to do it three months before it has expired. By definition the thing has already expired.Gotta love these rules. I think I'm legit... by two weeks. *gulp*
As I've mentioned before, when we were in the EU *sobs*, I once flew to Greece on the day my passport expired and, after a few questions at the airport, back after it expired. Good times.
It's an EU rule, I believe (because three months is the max time you can spend there).I find this whole fly months before your passport expires extremely odd. Were they wearing cassocks and dog collars per chance?I got stopped on a bridge this afternoon by a couple of blokesā¦..thought they were about to embark on some kind of tourist-fleecing scam as they asked where I was from etc etcā¦ā¦..ended up with them shaking my hand and saying they hoped we beat the āRoma scumā 3-1 and saying they were Lazio Checked all my pockets a few moments later and nothing was missing
I think we have similar in Australia too. Might need to double check that though, I guess it's for the same reasons. It's an EU rule, I believe (because three months is the max time you can spend there).
Itās not just the EU, itās pretty much anywhere (and often 6 mths)ā¦ā¦.I understand itās primarily down to providing a contingency if you got ill or had some other reason for being unable to get home whilst abroad so didnāt get stuck without a passportIt's an EU rule, I believe (because three months is the max time you can spend there).
I stood next to a chap and his son (both Brighton fans) in the queue to board our flight from Luton to Milan this evening, chatted with him about the trip, the Albion etc.Gotta love these rules. I think I'm legit... by two weeks. *gulp*

Horror storyI stood next to a chap and his son (both Brighton fans) in the queue to board our flight from Luton to Milan this evening, chatted with him about the trip, the Albion etc.
As we got to the gate, upon checking their passports, they were refused entry, presumably because one of them didnāt have the requisite 3 months to expiry.
I felt absolutely gutted for them.
