I don't understand your point here, what is easy or not at Calais/UK got to do with some Romanians travelling to Haywards Heath?
The point is Calais move people on we dont or cant once they have entered the country. Being an island we have 2
types of entry, by air or over/under the sea. If the legislation allowed it easy to control. It is the same with the millions of pounds of unpaid fines, link them to the docks computers and refuse exit until paid. Very easy all lorries cars , coaches etc have to go through the docks.

Could be! It seems more likely a family having found a flat in H H sent the address on A4 paper and said drive over here we will put you up till you get somewhere. That is an assumption and if so shows how easy we are compared to Calais.

People have made the most out of your post, but for me there is nothing wrong with judging these days, especially when we are hardly flush with affordable housing in this country.

As for calais, the french have offered these people asylum but nobody is taking it. This lot at calais are just laughing at the French now. It won't be long before the Gendemerie become overpowered and they manage to board a ferry. Once that lot are through you can expect many more thousands to do the same, and once again that will be many more people who will possibly become a burden on our system. When is it going to end, never.

No need to worry there'll be another van load of Romanians turning up next week and so on until there are 28 of them in the flat.

Any mostly Eastern Europeans wanting to come to the UK for a better life. I can undsrstand that but an ordinary person here cannot just upsticks and away to Australia or USA because they appear to have a better standard of living. Perhaps we should follow suit and control the incoming of people.

Romanians are allowed to live and work in France or the UK. The French cannot 'move them on' as you say. Freedom of movement in the EU.

That is what is killing us and the rest of Europe. I want the majority of people living in my country to be British and ispeak English, allow a few others in but not too many. Provided it doesnt impare our living standards or way of life if that is considered rasict so be it?

I don't understand your point - an ordinary person here CAN "just upsticks and away to Australia or USA". They could enter either of those countries as an illegal immigrant far more easily than the Afghans in Calais can enter this country.

They are migrants within the EU, not immigrants.

The NHS would collapse if it relied on 'British' workers.

How many of the Albion players do you want to chuck out of the country back to their European homes?

But would soon get found out, unlike here but the people I am talking of can do it legally. That is what I maintain is wrong and should be addressed.

Why should the people I spoke of earlier just be able to come here make them selves overcrowded and then be given accomodation.
