Regardless of the tireless position we are in and yes Withdean is shit we all know that, the club is losing the plot in marketing a product to get bums on seats.

What concerns me is this mentaility from within the club has to change otherwise when we get the green light and Falmer starts being built we will never get the crowds in.

If the club cannot keep 4,000 STH happy what chance later on.

I am sorry to say this but the commercial arm of this club has absolutely no nous what so ever on getting bums on seats. Why not price seasons cheaper and have a few £10 days and kids for a £1 ?

I care for this club believe me but am just shit scared it is just falling apart at the seams through mis-management or over focus on Falmer.
  Agree wholeheartedly, and believe me, that was difficult to say as i'm rathere pissed.:drink: :drink: :drink:

At last .....the real world.....but dont worry.... the board will want your £450 very soon ...with the prospect of bottom tier football a real possibility

More like £1,200 as Mrs Hut will sign-up plus the two kids.

Fair enough, but you use the term STH like no other Albion fans matter. I personally find that offensive in the extreme.

I'm sure most of the North Stand today were STH. But hey were quiet as the grave. They may well have gone for the 2.50 scarve thing, but they sure as hell didn't wave them in anger even once. They may as well have been a mural. I'm sure they pay theitr dues to the Albion on an annual basis. But they contribute ABSOLUTELY NOTHING towards motivating a fine young team.

Alternatively we could always try....

Dear Mr Billion/Millionaire,
We are a small football club somewhere in the south of England with nowhere to play except the local park, and everybody laughs at us because we get wet when it rains.
Please can we have lots and lots of money
Love....
:jester:

...and see where that gets us.

For all the Knight/Wilkins/McGhee/Father Christmas whoever.... in out shake-it-all-about comments that continually plague these threads, until somebody stumps up a huge wad of cash from somewhere we are stuck with what we have got and have to make the best of it. Nobody has ever named names about an alternative fairy godmother/father (unless they have somewhere else and I missed it which is quite possible) so until they do and they show us the colour of their cheque-book - live with it !!!!

Listen all BHAFC fans matter current and the 15K new ones needed to fill Falmer or be enticed back into the fold.

I just fear for the club at present as to me it is almost as if they have given up on the current fan base.

Beachy, you say that, but again I go back to the fact that you stated you would rather only 1,000 Albion fans went to West Ham last week provided they were all STH, rather than the 5,000 that actually travelled.

Your arguments don't stack up with one another.

Meaning yourself & your personal requirement for half a dozen West Ham tickets all sat together, right? ???

The club needs a reality check..if you dont look after your loyal customers ..when times are hard you may have no customers at all

Here we go..

The club simply has to find the money to keep us in this league. As tubthumper says, "One minute the club claim they are putting in bids for Dichio, Eastwood etc but we end up with a couple of non-leaguers from Essex." I think Beach Hut has a point to an extent. The board are so focused on falmer they are taking their eye of the footballing side. A team that won back to back promotions and then put up what appears to me absolutly no decent attempt what so ever to stay in the higher divisions. All Micky Adams good work has unraveled and we will be let with no players, no stadium and no fans. Of course we've got no money but we arn't asking for Ronaldinho are we? If the board havn't got any money, why are they at a football club? The fact is they do and its about time they opened their wallets!

Define 'loyal'.

Does it mean those fans with the disposable income to commit oe or more multiples of 450 quid in February?

Don't think so :nono:

Not at all it goes far deeper than that.

Why can't we sell out a stadium ?

What is the club doing to resolve this and put bums on seats ?

I know what they will do - ask us to spend another £400 5 months in advance.

It is simply not good enough to just keep repeating the same trick and now the devastating result will be less STH as they will not put up with this.

Must try harder the commercial people

Maybe I said that because I did not think it through with the red mist of not having a WHUFC ticket.

OK so perhaps I got it wrong so you can score a point from me and another cheap shot.

I still stand by the fact that STH should have priority - come on it was like a family day out last Saturday at times.

loyal might be a poor choice of word ..but without funds being paid up front the club has major problems ..just look at the recent sets of accounts...the club needs its STH and you know it

At last... the first sensible thing anyone has said.

Except it all boils down to selling the product and if the product isn't good enough not enough people want to buy it and so on down the endless spiral.

Does anyone have crowd numbers, season ticket numbers, moans on NSC numbers plotted against how (un)successful we were during the last few seasons. Wouldn't it be a surprise to find that when we did well more people were prepared to pay a not insignificant amount to watch - season ticket or pay per view, and that when we were poor the attendances dropped and the moans increased.

I make that a ginormous SURGE of season ticket sales in the Beach Hut household of 33 PER CENT next season!

Average that out across the Albion fans base and we're looking at sales of nearly 6,000 season tickets next season! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Could Knight and Perry be doing SOMETHING right after all based on this data?

My Loyalty went out of the window when they decided to McGee on at the begining of the season,Ive been to one game this season and I aint going no more.
And Ive been an Albion fan now for 40 years.

Thats what this board is doing to the fans,I have no faith at all in any of them as they seem to be wondering about with there heads up there arses most of the time thinking that 5,000 poor sods will get them out of the shit every year if they promise them fantasy signings now and again.

Looks like the peasants are revolting but no doubt they will bury there heads in the sand again and make a few good noises to keep all the Season tickets holders happy til they have stumped up there cash for next year again !!

If only Mrs Hut is fed up with doing the ironing Saturday afternoon so started her 10-match ST today.

Me, Junior and Mini think she is cursed and will ensure relegation :lolol: :lolol:

If your're going to go down the egomaniacal road of putting one of your own posts in your sig, this really should be the one up above.
