I'm an 18 year old Latics Fan from "Sunny Rochdale"
hence the name Rocky Latic.....Rocky being short for Rochdale and Latic is the name of an Oldham Fan.

errrr.....I know Albion Girl, Turkey and The Berk from other forums and here for the friendly banter

but wont be found if we get beat

They got themselves in that mess by paying a certain player 12k a week etc and no doubt more like it.

Mind you their player was probably fit but that's a hell of a lot of money for a second Division player.

Apparently, Darius Vasell gets less than that and he's an International!!

how did we get into the situation ourselves berk?

our then Chairman Chris Moore said he wanted Promotion and started giving Dowie money to splash around (Winjhard scored 10 in 10 games at the start of last season). So it's hardly our fault when Moore gets fed up with Oldham and decide's he doesnt want to put money into us. but before he went he sold all our best players, left us with only 9 professional players and a bunch of kids (5 of those pro's are injured) and basically his aim was to make Oldham Athletic no more.

Like they say, you cant spend money you dont have.

last year we had the money when he was there.........he leave's despite all the comments that he would stick by us through thick and thin etc and now he's gone.

hardly our fault he screwed us over

Well at least you will learn that you can't trust anyone and there is always a good chance it will blow up as so many clubs have found out.
