Maybe the club had some deal with Nike that ended on December 31? Or something. Who knows.

Never thought of it before but he did dress differently (more like tonight) in ÖFK and Swansea.

Yes,I remember he dressed smart when he first came to us,but was then in training ground attire on match days all the time.
You have seen more of potters games then anyone.
Did you see the game today and did you think we played more Swansea like in the second half?
It definitely seemed that way from what I heard on the radio.more in the style that Swansea beat arsenal?

Swansea never beat Arsenal, Östersund did though.

But yes, I would say second half looked a bit more like ÖFK & Swansea. More urgency. Its difficult to compare though, most of the attacking play in Östersund (Ken Sema, Hosem Aiesh, Saman Ghoddos) and Swansea (Daniel James, Nathan Dyer/Wayne Routledge) came through creative quality wingers... and Brighton doesnt have any.

Looking at the after match interview I'd have said he wore the three or four layers of clothing as well as the coat because it was freezing.

Apologies, yes of course it was ostersund that beat arsenal.
Its interesting you also think we played more like Swansea and ostersund second half.
Be interesting to see if we carry on playing in this more urgent style in the next games.
Of course I would argue we have 2 quality wingers in march and lamptey(albeit not playing today)
Maybe there is more to potters new coat after all.
Cheers swansman.

Graham Potter’s new coat, where did it come from?
Marks & Spencer.
Debenhams closing down sale.
Profile - expensive shop in The Lanes that sells designer clobber.
Christmas present from Mrs Potter.

Definitely looked smarter than wearing the club sportswear.

I would guess with moving from Wales, three young children, and losing both his parents probably never had much time for clothes shopping in last eighteen months - until his wife most likely gave him a load of new stuff for Christmas, or just that the tracksuit was getting a bit cold in middle of winter

CH always had it nailed re a smart I am the guvnor round here look on match days

The dull part of the south coast
Better than the usual ankle-swinger tracky bottoms and the same pair of Nike trainers every match.. (I sit about 20 feet away from him on match days (back in the good old days) and always wondered why he dressed like a cross between a homeless man and a smackhead).

If dressing smartly improves the team performance I'd like to see him a Tuxedo please. :)

White tie and tails would be better. Tuxedo is so very ‘Murican. Anyway, top it orf with a monocle and cigarette holder puffing on a ‘Passing Cloud’ - rather!

Absolutely perfect for when we play those horrible Northern oiks Leeds in a couple of weeks.

This could turn out to be a defining moment in our season, Potter comes out wearing a coat...could it be his lucky coat like Jimmy Melia’s white shoes in 83
2nd half performance best I’ve seen from us since start of the season
Still no home win but hope... maybe

I heard that the coat was purchased from a 12 year old boy on eBay who was claiming that it had been given to him by Jose Mourhinio.
