No idea why the OP started this thread. Unless it's anything to do with me telling him I started a new ignore list a few days ago with him the only name on it. I guess I'll never know

Maybe he posted this this morning and then spent 17 hours anxiously waiting for you to make a fool of yourself with the most obvious fishing post ever

Or maybe he had a funny thought, posted it on NSC and has been been out all day on Bank Holiday Monday and you're not actually the subject of it. Guess we'll never know

None, but that's because you're not allowed to ignore mods. I tried when one was harassing me constantly and it's not allowed. Other than that though I don't see much point, obviously if it's relentless abuse and attacks I can see why (been there) but in general there's nothing bad enough to need to use it.

Having a healthy ignore list greatly improves the NSC experience IMO. But you have to learn how to work with it and it takes a while to train yourself not to click that “show post” button. What I have found is that I reckon I can pretty much guess exactly what’s being said based on other posters’ reaction to the ignoree. And it saves a sliver of sanity not to have to read the actual illiterate chimpanzee’s drivel.

Actually that’s really the core reason. Illiteracy winds me up. I don’t want to see it.

Yep. Aside from the WUMs, anyone too stupid or unpleasant to be able to have a discussion, who never admits an error, who never backs up anything when called out, and who behaves like a dick in the bear pit, or gives 'ironic' thumbs up, can do one. Check who I have on ignore yet gives this post a thumbs up.

**** me, you're a smug, self-satisfied prick. As has been said before, you certainly make NSC far less enjoyable than it used to be and this thread is a textbook example of the low level friction and name-checking you seem to revel in.

Had I not relinquished my mod status a few weeks ago, I'd chuck this toxic thread straight in the bin and give you a permanent ban for being a stirring ****.
