Seems to have been a boy trapped in a girls body, I mean that not in a derogatory way but just as an observation. A great story & I can imagine that the tape recording of her statement about life playing a large part in the story. Fantastic body of work.

It made me wonder, that this lady was losing her storage containing her lifetime of loved and dedicated work, and passed away mere days before the deadline of the auction sell-off. What she had there could have kept her financially, even got her fairly rich!

It's like some stories in music (not least that of the blues legend Robert Johnson), where the genius gets discovered/uncovered sadly only too late for the genius themself.

Great story and those pictures are pretty special. It's just a shame she died before anyone realised her talent.
