Does the time machine allow for going forwards in time, or only back?

Back to 1943 to see if the teenge girl who came in our house during an air raid really touched me up whilst hiding in the cellar!

Back to the 90's. Good times.

Don't care about old old history.

December 21st 2012. See if the theories are right about the end of the world and come back and tell everyone with pictures I've taken on my phone.

I'd go back to 1966 and watch England win the world cup. Not going to see it otherwise.

That's a good option.

You have to remember if you go back too far you aren't going to understand people, it would be close to being in a country where you don't speak the language (although you'd probably get a little). A machine that lets you observe, like a TV that can show you the past, would be pretty useful though.

I'd go back to the birth of David Cuntlotti, and disgise myself as a Doctor and smoother the **** at birth.

Although saying that, it would be a close call whether to do that to that **** or Gordon Brown.

where would you go?

I would go to Medieval times, i don't know why... ???

The author is not everyones taste, but read Timeline by Michael Crichton, quite an easy read, a story about time travel to medieval France, naturally with some twists and turns. The film was a bit rubbish, but not the worst.

Would go back a few hundred years and put some money in a bank paying interest. Then come back and draw it out.

If I could go forward would go and see how long we need to wait until we do the double over Man U.

Good one. I'd personally love to be able to go for a perfectly safe walk around a town in Nazi Germany. Just to get a sense the atmosphere and what it is actually like to live in such a state - how much the regime really does filter down to everyday life.

NB - I am a very liberal left-wing person, this is not out of some sort of twisted admiration!
