In my computer
It doesn't matter whether they disclose the debt or not, the amount of debt bought and sold on a daily basis is in trillions. As for 100% mortgages, that is irrelevant, what is an issue is the ability of borrowers to repay the debt. The problem was caused by poor risk assessment by the lenders, of which the value of the security was one, but not the only, factor.

Absolutely cased by poor risk assessment of the lenders, but how else are we to protect ourselves from these poor decisions made in a far away place outside our jurisdiction?

Brighton factually.....
I fecking hate Labour, if they meant labour and stood for the working class then maybe, just maybe i might. They hung on the back of tory glory for the 90s and then Gorden Brown sold our gold reserve and Tony Blair lead us into a finacial mess and a war we did not want. feck them they fecked up.

Because Cameron's quite down to earth and not posh at all is he?

Think you're confusing this thread with a BNP rally mate.

"The deficit we were left with by years of Labour government" ra ra ra. Pot kettle I think you'll find. Labour f***ed it up in the 70s, the Tories f***ed up the 80s and 90s, Labour briefly fixed things then f***ed it up again, and now the ConDems are doing their upmost to f*** it up further. 2 million unemployed and their answer is ramp up higher university fees and cut 20% of the public sector. Yeah, great plan. Country's going to pot because politicians are all the same. Claim to be in it to help the country but happier lining their pockets and telling bare-faced lies to get power. Meanwhile gullible blinkered idiots like yourself follow their lead.

You describe a period in the 90's as 'Tory glory'. Which bit was that? Was that befre 3m plus unemployed or black wedsnesday? The Tories look after big business. That's all. Cause and effect. Labour used to be the balance to this with their union ties. Make no mistake that without mobilised union power to counter Tory greed 10 year olds would still be down mines and up chimneys. I know who I would rather trust to look after my children at school and in hospitals and it ain't the Tories.
