Whoever are the more than a third who said they would be delighted to sign him?
He is not our sort ! Nb I bet he would be appalled at the idea...

I would be delighted. It would be hilarious. Imagine the absolute meltdown Palace fans would be having, as they desperately tried to convince themselves that he isn't that good anyway.

Mr Topsy Turvey is not the kind of player we want or need in our squad, remember how disruptive a couple of resent players were and how zen like it's become within the squard since they were shipped out and long may it remain so

The frustrating thing is that the only difference between us and them, is that they have a top class player, and we don’t. If you put him in our team we’d be a top 8 side, and if you took him out of theirs, they’d be in a relegation battle.

We need to produce someone like him out of our academy. And soon.

But you just know, our world beater would run rings round other teams but, being us, when we played Palace...

I'd be delighted. Not because he'd joined us but for the reaction on their boards.

If I had Bloom's money, I would sign him and then ship him out on loan to USG. I know how keen he is to play in Europe.

He is a good player, there's no denying.

I'd like us to sign him purely just to watch their fans EXPLODE. They wouldn't be able to recover from that. It'd be like when Murray went the other way, but magnified by at least x20.

Rather have Andone back.Prefer a thug to a cheating diver, and I think he could turn out to be a decent player/human with therapy.

He’s just too good for you .

Blimey, then what's he doing at your lot then after we all proved too good for you last night without him?

I know it's a thread made in jest but I'll give an honest opinion anyway.

Most of the people voting 'appalled' are probably only doing so because they know our transfer policy and 120k per week wages would make it impossible so it makes a tough question (assuming we're actually taking it seriously) very easy to answer.

In an alternate reality where he would actually want to move away from 'his' club to it's rivals and one where we were being reckless with income, I would absolutely love to have him in this side.

If we were able to welcome someone back who left us for palace (whatever way you want to spin it re. contract talks that's still what happened), then a guy simply moving from palace seems easy in comparison despite his moments against us.

Some questions just shouldn't be asked.

This one is alsmost as bad as "She's attractive. If she wasn't your cousin, would you shag her?"

(And I already know that some people will reply "yes, even if she is my cousin").

I haven't voted, obviously. My reply would be that if Zaha was a different bloke entirely, with similar skills and a better attitude, the answer would be 'maybe'. And if my old mum had had a cock she'd have been my dad.

Great thread. I'd obviously love it because it would be hilarious.

When he goes I really think I'm going to miss him. He's been the perfect pantomime villain for such a long time now. He always raises his game and I really hate seeing him on the ball against us. I remember when Maldini retired and Inter's Curva Nord had that banner about how they had to respect him because he'd been such a loyal rival for 20 odd years. I feel similarly about Wilf. If you can't enjoy the highs in football without experiencing the lows, well there's not a great deal lower I've felt in recent years than 2013 0-2 poogate gaah. But we bounced back and look at us now.

Also to add - he does seem like a very nice chap as well.

A few individuals around me singing about death to Zaha and other disgusting things. I'd never say that and was pleased few joined in. Let's not get personal. He is a good player and is Palace, but would upset the apple cart at Brighton with his wages. I'm out but do hope he moves in January.

Would be a disaster for the club as there would be a queue of players demanding to double their wages to keep in touch wih is.
