both Micky Adams and Michel Kuipers have said that this weekend

HONESTLY, iS that going to happen? I dint think we were that great.
Yes we had a lot of pocession, but we didnt create many real clear cut chances. A couple shots from distance, and almost a wonder goal from Murray handballing it.

We gave Huddersfield more chances on goal that we created, and Kuipers pulled off a number of saves that kept us in the looking, but realistically can we actually achieve a result away from home playing like we did against Huddersfield.

Maybe I missed something and we were actually good on Saturday, if we were good, we maybe sat our our computers now talking about a win or a draw, minimum

Yes the ref was shit, but we didnt deserve a win.

I sincerely hope we do get a good result at Stockport - I wouldn't want my rare HERO POINTS to be in vain.

I think we more than matched Huddersfield, tbh. They did create a few chances too, but mostly on the break because we left ourselves short, whilst looking for an equaliser.

We should have had at least one other penalty. The foul on Johnson right in front of the FS was the clearest trip you could hope to see. The ref was ten yards from it, and I have no idea how he justified not giving it. You can guarantee that had it been outside the box, he would have given the foul.

I just dont understand why the manager and player are content with a sub standard performance, and think that level of play will gain a positive result in ANY match.

Why not try and better themselves than the dross that is being served up in the last 3 games at least. They were happy with the performance at Harltepool, we lost. They were happy with the performance against Huddersfield we lost.

Those two results have meant a) we have gone out the FA Cup with a massive chance to get to round 3 or more, with a second round tie at Fleetwood.

And b) left us 17th in the league, on minus goal difference, 13 points off the last play off spot, having only won TWO home games this season.

I agree.

Adams in the Argus today said the fans have got to stick with the LONG TERM strategy. So expect further dross.

I was brought back with a long-term strategy in mind and that continues,” he said. “It isn’t going to change and I’m not going to change – we just keep going.

“We haven’t written this season off because that would be stupid, but myself and the Board have a long-term strategy which we are going to keep pursuing I don’t like losing but, while it might be frustrating for supporters at the moment, they are just going to have to stick with it.

Err, NO, Thicky, they're not going to have to, at all, are they?
Without the secure numbers of the STHs, there were 2,500 there for the FA Cup game. Carry on with shit like you've served up this season, and we'll be playing in front of 3,000 odd every week in a year or two.

Wasn't it like this the first time MA came to the Albion? First season a bit up and down, following season - promotion.

No, it is a bit up and down, we've won some games, great start.. down.. man city... now. So yes up and down.

Man City was an enjoyable evening for people. The result achieves nothing.

You say we've won 'some games'. Why not actually define the 'some'. I'll do it for you. FOUR.

I meant along with man city the Leicester result. We may have only won a few games, but we could have won a lot more, due the l;ate goals or whatever. I know that is the teams and Micky's fault but we weren't going to be world beaters or perfect just because he has returned, we won't go down but we won't go up we need to consolidate let Micky build the team he wants/needs to get us out of the league. I can only think of one game at home this season which wasn't exciting (in hindsight) even if we did loose.

Is correct.....they had one chance - which they scored from - and the rest were once we were stretched chasing the game. We could easily have won 3-1.

Does THIRTEEN signings not constitute that? ???
How many of those are loan signings that couldn't be picked for certain Cup games?

We need a squad of players including ones that MA has signed on a permanant basis, allow time for the team to gel, and bathe in the glory of promotion - next season.
