So if we go down, who can we expect to leave the nest? I expect the vultures of L1 and Championship to swoop for the likes of Coxy, Murray, Elphick and Mcnulty. What do people think? Do you think we will be able to keep the squad together or do you think we will be made to sell either due to finances or player's wishes to leave?

if they are not good enough to keep us in this league, why would clubs be looking at them?

murray needs to prove his fitness, as unfortunately does jimmy mac. cox isnt good enough, and elphick is still overrated, and with the current financial climate id be suprised for any club to pay the sort of money we would want for him

If fully fit for the whole season, Murray and Forster would destroy most teams in League Two.

I haven't seen much from many of our current players that would make me vaguely sorry if they left or got released. Lack of passion is unforgivable at this level and few of them have real passion. As a few have said before, watching this team is not like watching the Albion, most of the players look like they couldn't give a f*** and the Albion has always been about passion.

thats a very big IF - murray has seemed to have spent this season constantly in and out of the treatment room, and forster is not getting any younger

True. Would be nice to see them two get a decent injury-free run together though.

I think Murray is a fantastic player when fit but I fear he is a sicknote

I flipping hope so. We need a new team and coaching staff.

Taken as a positive.......that is what we might well need, perhaps not a complete new team, but a line will need to drawn and new thoughts and impetus are needed with staff and players. We need to learn to win matches at home again.Dont forget we had some great times in div 2 last time,ie we were winners !Looking at the major league teams that may come down from the championship.......only huge investment would give us just a sniff of the playoffs..........Wilkins team....overachieved. So far this season....well we all know !!!!!......a winning team will fill Whithdea.I am sure the shareholders of BHA had not reckoned on the Falmer push from such a low base, hense the investment in players of late.I went to the pre season match at lewes last summer,i felt then that we were poor........

Cherry picking from a relegated side usually happens, so we can expect our best to go (Stevens, Robinson in 83, Wilson, Young in 87, Zamora, Brooker (!?) in 03).
