How many tickets per person do you reckon we'll be allowed to buy?

As many as you like!! It's an 80,000 capacity stadium. Can't see there being a problem getting tickets. You'd need to have names and addresses for everyone you're buying a ticket for and they's have to be AMS members. I can't see touts being able to abuse the system here. Could be a huge sorce of cash for the club though with all the extra £10 they'll get with non AMS members wanting to go.

Yes. because;

1) It is club policy for ALL away games.
2) They're not going to turn down a huge money spinner like this.

It's only £10 and you are a member for life! It's only really glory hunters that are going to feel the pinch as most fans are already members.

well yeah - doesn't affect me as a season ticket holder... just think people might be peeved at a £40 tkt plus possible booking fee, plus ams!

I don't think the tickts will be £40!!! Where are you planning to sit? next to the queen?

It'll be £25 tops plus £10 AMS (if you don't already have it) There won't be a booking fee as you can get them from the club not an agent.

They will want to sell as many tickets as possible, so £10 extra sounds a bit steep. If we play Bristol City, they'll probably sell 35,000 tickets plus.

It'd be interesting to see how many we took if we got there. I know there were 32,000 at Wembley v Notts County, but we've had a period of 6 or 7 years now where casual fans haven't been able to just turn up on the gate. These fans are a huge part of the support on big occasions. Plus it's "only" for promotion to Div 1, not the Premiership, and the last final was at Wembley, which is a lot closer to home than Cardiff, and had the history and tradition which attracted people in it's own right.

In all honesty, I think if we sold 30,000 tickets we'd have done fantastically well.

If we go to the final and the club make it AMS then it is the biggest joke going there are about 6-7K AMS members and fair weather fans are not going fill out a form send it in and then pay a tenner to be AMS then have to apply and pay again for a ticket. If it's AMS then we will be lucky to take 15K, just put them on general sale then we might take 25K

but they should at least make it AMS to start off with

if its not going well offer them to non-AMS members

(i reckon we will sell them at AMS level, but what do i know)

My mate paid £22 for his ticket at the Southend/Blackpool LDV. He said this was mid range, the most expensive being £30 I beleive. I dont expect to pay anymore than £25 for my ticket.

It should be AMS only otherwise it is hypoctical.

If the fair weather, glory hunting fans really want to come then they will have to join the AMS.

Probably find the club will just make it first come first served...

Certainly Season ticket holders / AMS must get priority, but there will be people asking why they have had to join the AMS and then the club are selling tickets to non members. But then I would rather see a full allocation sold than the club stick to its principles.

Not sure what hypotical is, but it sounds as daft as your logic. So called fair weather fans will not pay out £10 to join the AMS. Sad but true. Sure, loads will jump on the bandwagon and they may be indeed gloryhunters. However, these gloryhunters need to be turned into something more permanent. Putting barriers in their way when they want to see the Albion isn't going to encourage them to put their arses on the new seats at Falmer. Should we get to the final, It should be season ticket holders and AMS with a reasonable allocation limit ( ten tickets?) within a reasonable period of time. After that all the glory hunters should get a chance. If they keep it to the AMS, your not going to encourage new blood. Anyone who thinks we'll sell out 22,000 week in, week out at Falmer is kidding themselves. I missed out on an 83 cup final ticket thanks to the actions of Bamber! Yes, I'm still bitter about it!

If they really thik that the AMS option will work in this situation they are truly mad, I reckon we'll only have 10,000 tops if they do that. I have friends who aren't brighton fans but would come along to support the albion for the day out who wouldn't bothe rfor an extra tenner and surely if we get an extra 10,000 people in the stadium who aren't ams that will both make the club more money as a shar eof the gate and also mena we have more supporters cheering on our team.
