I'm surprised at the responses here. I LOVE the championship play off final and if it's between Swansea and Cardiff it could be immense.

I am I admit only thinking about on the pitch matters though.

I read somewhere that there's talk of allocating the Cardiff fans the rail and Swansea the road that travel on the day, if Cardiff win tonight.

What a tremendous idea. Travel apartheid, I like it. What happens if someone wants to fly though? What about Swansea fans who don't drive? And how, exactly, would you ensure that nobody from Cardiff made it on to a road that day? Clamp their cars?

Swansea are allowed the roads, but not the bits through, and past, Cardiff, obviously. They'll have to drive, over the Brecon Beacons, cross country, and via the old bridge. Quite right too.

Apparently when Celtic and Rangers play , the fans from N Ireland have to travel on seperate ferries .

Easy when you have a sea crossing to contend with , but I can't see how you could make 80, 000 Welshman agree to seperate land travel in order to avoid a tear up with the people they most enjoy having a tear up with.

If they want to play in the English leagues they have to put up with travelling to Wembley.

Only right that 'our' FA can benefit from some of the income, especially if they get a bit out of hand and damage our nice stadium.

Could be a cracking game - would be some serious local bragging rights to be in the Premiership.

I'm sure that on the pitch will be very good, off it won't be.

I actually dislike Reading as much,of not more than Palace. However, either Swansea or Cardiff playing top flight football in EPL,omg. This is awful. I was really hoping Forest would win Championship play offs :-/

They played QPR their a few years ago.Its only like Chelsea or Arsenal playing at Wembley, but yeah,i know what you mean.I expect Swansea would prefer Wembley tbh.

Ah such sweet memories of a great day out and a warm welcome ... Not! Hated them ever since.

There are bound to be major rail works with a bus replacement service that weekend, which could shoot a massive hole in that idea.

Notts
Why?!

I'm glad Nottingham Forest lost last night. I like them as a club and I want to travel back to the City Ground again!

I'm also glad Forest lost because Notts was such a great day out and it's only down my road.

I just think it's about time there was a Welsh team in the top flight and for the first time in the Prem. I'd like Cardiff to go up, god knows Dave Jones has been unlucky in the playoffs.
