Wow.

Loved Talk Talk, particularly the later three albums

Edit: I see that Eddie Hollis was the manager of Eddie and the Hotrods, so it wasn't a cover at all.

Not starting another thread but as another side line, musical artists (reasonably well known) with siblings in other bands?

I can think of Pete Wiley (Wah!) and Dave Wiley (Come in Tokio)
Alex Harvey (SAHB), and Les Harvey (Maggie Bell's guitarist)
Peter McCartney ('Mike McGear' of the Scaffold) and the **** in Wings.

Mick Hucknall and Carol Decker?

Does Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses) and Tanya Donelly (Breeders, Belly) count. Only step sisters though.

Cheshire Cat

Just about everything released after 1990.

He has a tremendous range.

And they have made some delightful pop.

Never mind his range I'm more impressed by his magnificent colander...

Hate to say this as a long time Led Zep fan but wouldn't be bothered if I never listened to Stairway to Heaven ever again - some songs just get played to death...

I think his voice and jingle jangle guitar are brilliant and the band was better than the Beatles (who they influenced by their own admission)

To quote Edwin Collins of Orange Juice: I wore my fringe like Roger McGuiin, I wore it hoping to impress

Never been a Led Zep fan, but Stairway to Heaven was awful, second only in pretentiousness to bohemian Rhapsody (above)

Was always a Beatles fan, although preferred the Stones in their early days, but Yesterday is an awful uninteresting dirge.

Give it to Ray Charles and it is transformed

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world... You...
Unless you're a tax efficient multi millionaire...

Was this written when Lennon lived in an exclusive appartment block in a desirable area of New York?

Might have been whilst on vacation in that big Surrey gaff.

Do I detect you share my cynicism for Mr Spiggy Topes ("Love is it, hate isn't"), late of The Turds?
