Anyone know when the Iceland down Boundary Road, Portslade is going to open? I want to keep an eye out for Kerry Katona.

True. But that blimmin' annoys me. More so than the Boundary Road / Station Road debate. I doubt there's a more confusing road anywhere in the UK...

I'd never heard of that until about a week ago, and have now seen it mentioned three times (the other two being on two seperate tv shows). Mad. But as bizarre as that is. Boundary/Station Road, Portslade/Hove still beats it.

And is in Hove, and not Portslade!

Wasn't it Portslade and West Hove before economies in signwriting saw the end of "and West Hove",and isn't the station on Portland Road, and isn't it simply that the Hove side of the road is Boundary Road, and the Portslade side Station Road.It always seemed so simple.

No, my understanding is that there's two different "borders". There's a border between Boundary Road and Station Road, which is simply one side of the road is Boundary (the train station side), and one side is Station. Then you have the border for Hove and Portslade, which I believe is the crossroad at New Church Road/Franklin Road (near all the banks). So theres in theory a Boundary Road, Portslade, a Boundary Road, Hove, a Station Road, Portslade, and a Station Road, Hove, all on one road...

I could be wrong.
