remember when we used to abuse chelsea fans for doing exactly the same….buying up players and then sending them out on loan never to be seen again…..of the ones we have done this to, Mitoma and Adringa seem to be the ones that have worked.

can one of the usual crowd tell me who else has done well that is still here (ex Ben white who only was here a year so I never really saw him as a Brighton player)

Mitoma and Adingra had to have loan spells as they couldn’t get work permits when signed. Same applies to Mac Allister.

Ben White was here a lot longer than a year. We are more than just the first team. We picked him up at 16 and his first loan spell wasn’t until he was about 19. He’d already made his first team debut before the loan move to Newport.

Van Hecke had a couple of loan spells away, Moder remained on loan at the club we signed him from when he first joined. Looks like Ayari and Sarmiento could figure in the first team squad this season too.

Yes, he went to an awful team in Belgium whose name slips my mind.

JPVH spent full seasons at Heerenveen (like Osman this loan wasn’t long after he’d joined us) and Blackburn. Ayari spent last season at Coventry and then Blackburn.

Whilst we are at it……why did Tony bloom go to Europe in a brand new Skoda to get moder?
Did he buy one, or did the local Skoda dealer just lend him One for the journey?
If so I wonder how much that would have knocked off the price as it would technically be “ used”! when they sold it…a bit like the white BMW’s used at the Olympics in London my mate got one for 1/3off the list price and it only had 175 miles on it!
Did the Albion recompense said Skoda dealer….presumably Euroskoda in Worthing?
why didn’t he just get his chauffeur to drive him there?
