Do you think clubs like Barcelona look at resale value as a priority?

Mitoma is only 26. Any buying club could get more than 6 years of top level wing play out of him. Bearing in mind we paid £7m+ for one Fati-season, I’d be gutted if we get anything less than £50m for him when the time comes to sell (as is our model). Of course I’d like him to stay but if the choice is between himself and Pervis, there is only one winner there.
You would rather keep Pervis over Mitoma?

I suspect both of them would want/need a change of scenery,... both can get a bigger contract in Spain/Italy or Germany.... though I suspect Chelsea will as usual want to pick one or both off.

Doubt they would get a better contract in Italy, spain, Germany unless they went to the top of the top. And none of these will pay the expensive fee both would.command. (apart from Chelsea)

There are many clubs in all three of those leagues that will pay more than the Albion....

Real, Altletico, Barca, Seville, Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig, Juve, Roma, AC, Inter, Lazio.
Perhaps most of the those could pay more. But I highly doubt any will pay a massive fee for Mitoma or pervis and then pay them massive wages on top. I just dont see it and definitely not for pervis who has been terrible this season.

How is young Ibrahim getting on?
5 goals and 5 assists in 33 games across all competitions this season. Nordsjælland currently sit 4th and look like qualifying for the Danish Championship playoffs, they are also in the semi finals of the Danish Cup. Looks like a good first full season for him.

Ooooo that is nice.
From there he should have attempted to set up an intricate 6 man, one touch, passing manoeuvre resulting in the ball slowly rolling out of play.

Clearly not suited for the Albion.

An assist for young Ibrahim this afternoon.
Sweet!

This was of course against FC Midtylland who were, until August last year, majority owned (60%) by a certain Matthew Benham whose other club we’ll be meeting the day after tomorrow.

His gambling company SmartOdds apparently still provides them with data insights. Hopefully, the only insight they’ll be passing on to FC Midtylland on Wednesday will be that Brentford got totally smashed!
