it's pretty sad I thought.

If I had won the money, I'd want to be annonymous, at least at first, whilst I considered what to do.

Oh, and until the money's in the bank, and I saw my balance, I probably wouldnt believe it

So, if you won £35million, how much would you give the Albion?

I think I would be tempted to buy a stake in the stadium and perhaps buy a place on the board? I wouldn't just hand them money straight off.

As for the family, wouldn't you have checked the numbers!? 'Now I have to get some work to pay my road tax...' :thud:

I'm sure I'd want to do something similar, chip in 2mill for a place on the board

But did he actually think he had won...by maybe checking last weeks ticket, or misreading the numbers, or did he know he hadn't and was playing a practical joke the whole time?

It must have been a wind up surely, according to the Argus, he was photographed by a national newspaper with the winning ticket, which suggests some kind of prank.

Don't want to sound mean, but the son sounds like one of those people who discover a million pounds has been mistakenly transferred into their normally-empty account by their bank, go and spend it all, then complain bitterly when the bank demands it back.
