Do you lot being think that we are a 'premiershite' team. Being we ain't like Man Ure or anything and go about things the right way??? The Zamora thread got me thinking about this and I thought I would ask you.

No, I like Charlton.

They don't think they're better than they ought to be!

eerr...what?

In the Zamora poll somewhere on the big board one of the choices is he will end up at a 'Premeiershite team'. Are we won of them???

If the Premiership was full of nicely run clubs like Charlton, instead of billionaires playthings, over-spending has-beens and corporate plcs, it wouldn't be so shite.

Totally agree......................Chalton have balanced their books well and now have a few bob to spend.
Curbishly has done a marvellous job.
If Brighton follow in Chaltons footsteps I will be more than pleased.

I think Charlton FC are a credit to the FA and english football as a whole, if more clubs where run like that we'd be a much better footballing nation.

I must admit I like Charlton but am getting a bit tired of CAFC Matt's irrelevent Charlton-centric posts and apparant need for us to all proclaim our admiration for his club.

Or maybe I'm just getting harsh in my old age? :dunce: I'm sure you're an alright bloke Matt. :)

No interest at all in Charlton. They've done well and good luck to them though. They are obviously a Premiershite team because they are in the Premiershite.:jester:

Back in 1991, the year we last reached the Playoffs, we did the double over Charlton.

If you looked at the two teams playing at Selhurst Park that afternoon in 1991 when Codner scored the winner, and you were told then that one of those clubs would establish themselves as a top flight club within around 10 years, whilst the other would become homeless and drop through the leagues, I wonder how many would have said it'd be Charlton who'd have the upturn in fortunes ?
