I want a new cd player

Fed up of using my dvd player, it just isn't right.

Budget - about a ton I reckon. I know it's not a lot but I'm not spending any more on summat that I'll probably bust anyway.

I'm quite happy using my DVD player to play CD's, as its all plumbed in to my sub-woofer and 5.1 surround sound.
I realise this is of no help whatsoever, but I just wanted you to know.

Seriously, ahem, just check out the What Hi Fi website, expert reviews in every price bracket... Just go for a "five star" machine and you'll not go far wrong.

got an ex demo Denon one from there for £70, sold it to CASHCONVERTERS for £75 quid a few years later
