I with jeep. Southend is the BIG one [assuming we don't f*** up on Saturday]. I really think our ENTIRE season comes down to what happens Tuesday night.

On the original question - no you're not mad. Withers is the place to be, unless you happen to be a pompey fan, which THANK GOD, it appears you're not.

actually Pompey are quite supportive of us. .

I agree. I remember when we were stood in the pissing rain, in the uncovered away end at Fratton Park, when the police decided to keep us in for 45 minutes at the end of our 5-1 humiliation. The SUPPORTIVE pompey fans gathered outside throwing half bricks to us, presumably in the hope that we could use them to cobble together some form of temporary shelter.

God bless 'em.

This is tantamount to heresy on here, I know, but PERSONALLY I actually dislike Pompey MORE than Palace.

It may be to do with my own particular circumstances [growing up in Brighton, but living for the last 15 years in Southampton] that perhaps I've been blessed with a double dosage of anti-Pompey feelings.

I don't think so though - I'm pretty sure I've always held them above all others as almighty c*nts.

Today I declined an offer of a box ticket at Wembley on Sat. for the Pompey game with catering and parking included. Why? So I can go to the Port Vale game. Am I mad?

No you are not mad. It's because I'm coming to the game tomorrow Steve! :drink:

See you there!:drink:

Same here, I quite like 'arry aswell.

Harry is a CROOK, who has been leeching money from the game for years. Pompey as a town is HORRIFIC, the people are CAVEMEN [especially the WOMEN] and their entire fan base consists of neanderthals, a big sweaty man with tatoos and a bell, and Fred Dineage.

You are not old enough to really have any memory of past encouters with these wankers, so I forgive you.

Man of Harveys, on the other hand, has NO EXCUSE.

I don't like Harry Redknapp at all, he is a dreadful crook. And yes, Grand National Day always takes me make to THAT defeat with Mark Hateley etc. But I can't help it, I don't mind them. I'm a PERVERT and I need help.

The question we all have is for next Tuesday...

We can stay at home to watch Liverpool v Arsenal on the box in an important match or... we can get ourselves off to Southend to enjoy the match.

Me? - My ticket for Southend arrived yesterday and I'm getting excited about the match already..

thankfully it is all ticket, so can make the decision over whether to treck the width of england on tuesday morning

grand national day always reminds me of dave martins stunning debut in a defeat at scunthorpe that looked like it could be the defeat that sent us down to the conference

Those matches back in the 70s were like Millwall coming to town. Pompey and Millwall used to supply the violence. The Albion used to supply the goals. We used to wipe the floor with both sides on the pitch!

Nothing heresy about that. I'm pretty much in agreement with you.

Yes it is.

Apart from Gun Wharf, which does not REALLY count as proper Portsmouth.

The best thing about that is you can park in Gosport and ferry it, to save actually driving through portsmouth at all.

To be honest, if you'd rather go to Wemberlee to watch Pompey than go to Withdean & watch the Albion, you are probably turning into what is known as a GLORY HUNTER.

God I f***ing hate Pompey. (& Palace of course).

Yes that's exactly what a glory hunter is :glare:.... somebody that supports the albion, has a season ticket which means sitting in rain and all sorts plus following the albion all over the country! And there was never any question of prefering to go Wemberly, as he already said he was and did in fact turn it down.
