A mate of mine got my ticket for the FA Cup game, gave it to me at the Tranmere match, and I think I've gone and LOST it. Could've sworn it was in my jacket pocket, but now its GONE. I'll have a hunt round the car tomorrow morning when its light, perhaps it fallen out in there. But if I can't find it, will the club shop give me ANOTHER one ? Or will they just dismiss me as a ne're do good ticket tout just trying to screw an extra ticket out of them to sell on ?

:(

If I can't find it, I'm loathe to lash out another £15, as paying out £30 to see us against another pub team is a mite excessive at this time of year.

If some other herbert has NICKED it, or finds it and goes to the game taking my seat, can I ask that someone on here please twat them round the back of the head or throw some chips at them.

Ta.

if its your first offence they charge you again but will give you a refund if the other ticket turns up. Well they do if you turn up to a game and you have lost your ticket on way to game and you are a sth

Errrr...so whats the point of contacting the club if they're only going to charge me again anyway ?

Yeah this is an absolute gem of a rule. I couldn't help but laugh when they told me on the phone. Anyway, I presume the way I was told it was a mistake, but it's worth a go if you get the same plank that I got. Basically, they told me that they would issue me with a new ticket FREE OF CHARGE, however if I were to find my original ticket they would CHARGE ME £20:shootself

and you didnt admit you found your ticket

That really was the most amazing "lost my ticket" display imaginable. :lolol:

However, I did have a similar everything-out-of-all-pockets moment when I got home Saturday, looking for my Cup ticket. In fact I do have that quite a lot.

I lost my season ticket once and they only charged me £20 for a new one! but the very kind lady at the ticket office let me off! i recently found it when clearing out my room in a jeans pocket which was going to a chairty shop :dunce:

On one occassion when I said that I had left home without my season ticket they charged me £20 and refunded the money when I sent the original ticket back in. On another occassion my brother wasnt able to go but didnt have time to send me his ticket for my son so I just told them that he had forgotten to pick it up, as I knew his seat would be empty, they just gave my son another duplicate ticket.

Despite what many say on here about the ticket office and shop staff I have always found them to be very helpful if you are polite with them. I did fall foul of them once when (2nd occassion above) there were so many people collecting tickets that I missed the first 10 mins of the game and started ranting, but in general they are very good.
