I should be celebrating tonight but I can't

Tonight of all nights I should be in Wetherspoons filling my belly full of cheap lager , leering at Polish barmaids and celebrating the fact that Magoo has been sacked.
But instead I feel that two decent football people in Magoo and Booker have lost their jobs and been stitched up for one reason and one reason only and that is to take the flak off one Harry Richard Knight AKA the potless pillock.
6 games into a season is nothing and with 2 wins out of 6 games there is nothing there to say we would not be in the middle of the table which is where Dick Tight said he would be happy for us to be.
Today is a sad , sad day for the Albion and I hope other more prominent media Albion fans will be commenting on the way that two loyal Albion men in Mark McGhee and Bob Booker have been treated.

I am with Ernest on this one. DK was behind MM until he started taking some of the flak himself. As soon as this happened then Dick pulled the emergency cord and defelected the criticism of himself by sacking Magoo.

MM has plenty of faults, and public relations is clearly one of them, but he gave his best under very difficult circumstances.

You Ernest, with all due respect, are a hypocrit. Don't waste your time coming on here with your pathetic attempts to pretend that you are bothered about this, just because you are having pangs of guilt that you and your kind have put two decent hard-working men out of their jobs.

It's what you wanted. Ultimately you and your sad little band of keyboard warriors and faceless voices in the crowd have got what they wanted. Live with it, don't waste our timewith your hand-wringing.

I've always found Ernest quite amusing.

As for McGhee's PR, I think he's suffered from being a very honest bloke. When he's asked a question, he answers it... e.g. the stuff about Jarrett or criticism of Leon Knight.

It's a shame some people then slate him for that. No doubt our next boss will just fall back on the same old football cliches without expressing a true opinion. Dull, but he won't get any flak.

agreed

i cant help but feel that a 1-0 win via an 88th minute own goal with mcghee in charge would of had people moaning and issuing concern as well

I had always supported Mark McGhee and thought he done a fabulous job considering the circumstances he was under i.e., cash etc.

It pisses me off seeing how juvenile posters on here banging on for months and years demanding his resignation when there’s no body out there who can do a better job.

How long will it be before the Muppets on here demand the axing of the next manager?. We cant even attract players so what chance of us getting a manager. None!
