I turned up for a minor op at the private hospital in Haywards Heath yesterday at 08.50. Was amazed to see Charley Oatway and Malcolm Stuart sitting there in the waiting area, in full 'Skint Tracksuits'.

Probably should have sent up a chant of "If you all hate Palace clap your hands" or something but chickened out. I did do a chant of "Stand up if you hate Palace" in my head and was most amused when they both did stand up. I thought, great guys...Albion through and through. Only then realised that the nurse had called them.

By the way, the first part of this story is true. The second part is just my weird sense of humour.

Way out west
That was my thought too, was he limping when he walked off, or was he more like a spring lamb and full of the joys?

He was limping when he walked off but that was only because I accidentally tripped over the coffee table and sent him flying. I felt so bad, especially being a fan that I have probably put his return back another few months.

Funnily enough my mate saw them there a couple of weeks ago...lots of swearing from Charlie about (what my mate assumed) one of the club's medical team pushing him too hard apparently!
