'That if we don't win this we're going to be in relegation trouble'.

Until they scored we had more time and space than we've had for a long time. They were poor. What does that make us?

We're blaming refs every game for our shortfalls.

Yet all we could muster was a few shots from distance straight down the keepers throat.

Quality crosses were going in similar to Reading but our 'forwards' just don't seem to be a threat.

You hold your breath every time a cross goes near Ankergren.

Togetherness wasn't there, players arguing amongst themselves big time.

What was Dunk doing making a lunging tackle by their corner flag when he was a booking away from suspension?

This isn't a moan up, this is reality folks. If this keeps going we will be in a relegation dog fight.

But at least we know from what many other posters have said that all the players are 100% behind Gus.

Things, apparently, can only get better.

i would agree Coventry were a very poor side but we gifted them 2 goals.i am pretty certain they will go down.they must have thought their boat had come in yesterday.

In my opinion, we are a long way from being relegation material but we have to start winning soon otherwise losing can become an irreversible habit.

My view as well, we are 4 wins ahead of 3rd from bottom. What I can't see if where or when we will score a goal again.

Funnily enough I said exactly the same after ten minutes. Coventry were toilet but whilst we kept possession well we have no cutting edge up front. If you don't score goals you don't win football matches. And if you have a flapping goalkeeper you lose them.

I think more than anything it's that attacking midfielder position that most needs filling, and we've heard from Gus in the recent past that if Vicente can't be deemed fit to play that we need someone else there. I suppose we are too easy to play against if there's not that central ghostly figure who can break through and delicately touch it on to a striker who might be waiting, or strike from distance.
We're all learning how difficult this division is in comparison to last year's walk in the park, and surely have to keep the panic on hold. I don't want to muddy our artistic identity just because it keeps proving too difficult. All we need do is strengthen and adapt, to keep growing in confidence and intelligence thanks to experience, and to never listen to the jeers of onlookers with undoubted arselbowitis. Gus is who he is and wants the team to be a reflection of that character, so as much as the audience might sometimes bleat, it's best he refuses to become a different person all because of it and battles on with what he believes. I'm still behind him and us all the way.

We are in relegation trouble. Since beating Bristol City we have taken 16 points from 18 games, that is relegation form. Are 21st in current form (last 6 games) league, only Forest with a magnificent null have scored fewer goals in that period.

The only comfort is that the top three are Burnley, Reading and Middlesbrough so perhaps we have been unlucky to play them at a form time (and, yes we probably would have beaten Burnley with 11).

The ill-discipline, injuries and loss of form of key players have come together at a bad time. Sigings have been universally disappointing either cos dont play or not made the grade, CMS excepted as he faces an impossible task with the lack of support.

This could still go either way but yesterday was a bad day - we were completley ineffective against a poor team. On that performance we will lose to Wrexham, never mind Saints.
