They don't sound great either. Unlike Atomic Floyd earphones - cost an arm & a leg, but sound is great, as is the microphone. And they don't attract muggers as the (tangle-free) cord isn't white.

I find them a bit weird too :)

Out of interest, how is your battery life compared to a previous phone?

I charged my phone last night, turned off all apps and lost 15% overnight! That seemed excessive to me.

Are you in a weak signal area? That's what normally kills the battery.

Better sound than the originals, but kept falling out of my ears as well. Bough a pair of Nocs from the apple shop.Superb sound and good price

I had an htc desire before the I phone 5, am more than happy with the battery life, it lasts me all day unlike the htc

Same happened to me just the other night - I think it's good practice to occasionally go through and shut down apps, you might be surprised how many you have open and what they're doing to your battery......

I deliberately did shut down all the apps because I'm thinking there may be a fault with this phone. The 4s was much better for battery life than this 5 model. Just wondered if others have experienced the same :)

My 5 is considerably better in battery life that the 4s and 4 that I owned previously.

My iPhone 4 battery still lasts all day even after over 2 and a half years.

If you have earphones that these will fit on (not apple ones), I've heard that they are excellent for stopping them falling out.

Bose® StayHear® tips - medium: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

From the reviews:

"I bought the original Bose ear buds a while back and they would always fall out of my ear while on the treadmill. These new StayHear tips are totally worth it. The earbuds stay in place and won't budge. I'm so glad I bought these."

Make sure you go into settings and turn FaceTime off when you don't need to use it, it absolutely destroys the battery life.

As for the headphones, I think they are a million times better than the old ones, although that isn't hard... Not as good as my sennheisers but I use the hands free microphone quite a lot and I like that you can control the music without taking your phone out of your pocket and use Siri to change songs (people might think you are a bit mental though...)

I dont think ive ever used the headphones that come with any phone or player, they always seem to be the weakest link. I prefer over the ear headphones anyway, without a cable if necessary...my nokia bluetooth headphones are outstanding.

Nice price, do they have a volume control (that works) on the cable

They're brilliant, and outperform over/on ear headphones that I have!

Yep, they come with a remote in the cable. The remote is Apple compatible, so no guarantee that it would work on non-apple products.

Quite pricey for in-ear headphones but well worth the money.
