Don't think Manu Chao was in Manu Negra but similar styles of music. He would've been to young (but I might be wrong) and I thought he was Spanish (but I may be wrong) who cares

Manu Chao - Proximo Estacion Esperanza

i thought he was romanian or summit. sure i'm wrong though...

Jet, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters and Von Bondies.:clap2:

Scissor Sisters "Take Your Mama" is a cracking track.

What is the backing track it reminds me of something from the late 70's ???

The jet album is good but i'd like to throw in-

Hundred Reasons-Shatterproof is not a challenge
Coheed and Cambria-In keeping secrets of the silent earth 3
and lastly
Biffy Clyro-The vertigo of bliss

I would recomend the following as the best indie/mod/punk revivalist bands:

- The Ordinary Boys..simply superb and amazing live.
- Franz ferdinand...retro swaggering tunesmiths.
- the libertines...angry young quintisential englishmen.

Other good new acts:
- Chikini
- the von bondies
- scissor sisters..the bastard love children of elton john and ricardo from the salon.

Not a massive fan of Snow Patrol but quite summery.

Get the new album by The Streets when its out and the ordinary boys debut 'we am the ordinary boys'.
Look out for new album by the thrills this summer as well and I hear fatboy Slims new album should be hitting the shops this summer as well, the release was due before last Christmas.
