I know all home games are all ticket, but.......

What is the latest a ticket could be bought from the Amex shop on the day of a game?

Also, tomorrow, say a Gills fan travelled without a ticket (they would be daft to, but some smaller clubs probably are used to POTG) are we saying they would not be sold one (space permitting) or would common sense rule and we would take their money and not leave them outside the ground, annoyed with the possibility of them causing trouble?

Sounds like an ask the club type question.

No 'pay at the gate' was part of the planning permission, I think.

I can't believe the club would let the occasional fan pay, because it would set a precedent and word would soon get around.

No one wants fans milling around outside, so you'd get cleared off the property.

Entirely correct, IMHO. As for home fans leaving it late - I don't know what the planning permission says, but if the system allows it I think it would make sense to allow tickets to be purchased online right up to the last possible moment (and collected at the ground). If someone happens to live in Falmer, why not let them buy one at 7.30pm if they want to...

(I realise this doesn't answer the OP's question - sorry, I don't know what's actually happening)
