Don't know what you will think of this so don't ask who I my source is, I have no idea if anyone else has heard this with all you in the know people, but earlier today was speaking to someone I rarely chat to anymore and he's always been reliable but it's usually been obvious stuff.

Anyway, the source says a certain central midfielder is coming to club on a free as he's without a club, hoping to sign just until the end of the season and then onward if he can prove his fitness as he's been working hard alone in Portugal.

To be fair Football MANAGER is used sometimes by ACTUAL clubs. It's a very good source of info, as it employs hundreds, if not thousands of scouts. FIFA, however, has never been seen as reputable.

In the last 2 years he's played a decent amount of games for Sporting Lisbon and Fc Kolne. The Bundesliga is obviously a decent standard league, so too the Primeira Liga in Portugal, shown by the fact Olhanese (SP?) have beaten us twice and are struggling themselves.

I'd welcome him here, as long as he's fit. He'd be a great player for the youngsters to learn off.

It saddens me when someone like Maniche is mentioned and people don't know who he is.

There were quite a few people on here that had never heard of Vicente when we signed him, which flabbergasted me as he was, at one point, one of (if not the) best players in the world


Anyway, I digress. He'd be well worth a punt assuming he's fit. Bags of experience, flairtastic and would definitely be good enough for the championship.
