I have not felt this low since McGhee tenure

Am I alone in feeling so low at the moment in regards to Albion, I feel as low as when McGhee was at the helm and everything was crashing down around us. I really hope we are not going to go into another free fall like at the end of his reign but I feel quite pessimistic about it.

Recent home results, combined with player disruption, injury prone players, Lynch's short yet more than likely permanent departure. Inevitability of Knights' statement that Adams was better suited to taking the club and squad forward compared to Wilkins coming back to haunt us.

I now sense a drumming at home to Man City, which will further wreak havoc amongst the fragile confidence our team has at home.

Someone cheer me up!

Stop being so f***ing miserable.

It's not actually all that bad is it?

Defeat to City and another shitty home performance in the next league game at Withdean and i might be reaching for the noose.

It's not that bad for Christ sake, Mickey will turn it round. I was thinking today that actually we've not played that well all season. The players are there we wont go down but we might have set our expectations too high this season!

I think it is much more important that we have a good performance tomorrow rather than a result.

Northampton should be full of confidence so a tough fixture on Saturday. That still should be the main focus.

At least the BOO BOYS are happy that they can wank themselves silly over our results and have one more than one player on whom they can vent their bile ridden spleens.

You've got a lot of faith in Adams but I'm not entirely sure what it's based on.

Maybe you wanna cast your mind back about 6 years.

Times have changed a lot in the years since. He had a good squad when he got here and god knows what is going on at moment, changed the way we play and its not for the better. No money to bring players in, Withdean is now a big problem with atmosphere unlike when he was first here. All in all i admire the faith people have but not sure it will be delivered upon

Indeed.

Why are people so NEGATIVE?

It's no wonder the results at Withers are so bad when the team are faced with a TIDAL-WAVE of NEGATIVITY washing over them.

He did well at Brighton last time round, I grant you, but what has he done since at other clubs? Sadly, not a lot although I do really hope he comes good again. We need something to cheer about.

I do know what ya mean. Maybe I am being a tad nostalgic, but I believe he will get it right, given time. It may take this season to sort it out, but I never expected promotion this season anyway.

It's nowhere near as bad now as it was in the last few months of McGhee's reign, We are still only a handful of games into Adams reign, and he needs time to bring through his idea's and to realise what the teams weaknesses are and what he needs to work on.

The only real big difference so far between the start of Adams spells are from the fans, we have got from happy to have the team back and didn't really care too much just how we played and where we finished but now the fans expect instant success and demand that we play premier league quality football, with promotion the only thing that may actually make those fans happy (if only for a short while)

The players that are there don't suit MA's tactics.
