I kept telling people how strong this squad is but there are still a quite a few non believers. Although we have lost BZ, Knight has the potential to get 25 league goals this season with Henderson assisting with 15 if they stay with us.

As well as that we have 7 players good enough to play in division 1 , the best manager in the league, the best team spirit in the league, the best captain in the league and the best supporters in the league.

The championship is ours.

Accordingly I had £ 40 on Albion to win Saturday at 7/5 with Ladbrokes Plc and got back £ 96.

They'll be a different kettle of worms. I couldn't get to Oldham so went to watch QPR on Saturday. They were excellent. Ainsworth is going to give Mayo as hard a game as he has all season, their midfield ran around like it wasn't even vaguely warm and their defenders look v.solid.

Can see why they're favourites - if we do well against them, we'll have a much better idea of how we'll fare this season.

i had a modest £10 at the same odds as gg. strangely enough i nearly broke a rule of mine never to bet more than £10 cos i was certain enough about that one. never week.....much tighter methinks, we'll win but a tight game

its not QPR that bothers me its the likes of Wrexham, Rushden, Hartlepool, Wycombe and Colchester the cr@p in this div that we struggle to raise any sorta decent game against; traditionally Albion always raise the game against the 'better' teams, so im expecting a win against QPR, the others dunno too early to see!
