I think it's going to be a mediocre division. The better teams went up (Cardiff, Wigan), and the others from last season have serious issues - Oldham are screwed, Brizzle City lost Scott Murray which is like us losing Zamora.
Twatty, if the player wanted to move then he had us over a barrel. He gave us 3 superb years, a truckload of goals, 2 championships and first division football.
Yes, £1.5m is way lower than his true value, but we have got a sell on clause. And anyway, as has been said before, the days of lower division teams buying players are long gone. But that money will come in handy when competing for signatures of good players as we'll be able to offer decent wages.
simster, again youre too busy looking for the insutl here. None was intended. I know he had you over a barrel and he did give you 3 fantastic years but £1.5mil is way too cheap. However, I did predict you would get around that.
Im sorry I do apologise!
seriously I dont think we'll struggle, maybe get off to a slow start if we dont get a new striker in but I have every confidence in SC bringing in someone decent enough to score 20+ goals in Div2
