Its a fairly typical NSC thread. What started out as a description of a near-death experience, has now somehow boiled down to to contents of my sandwiches.

I love NSC. :D

These things are vital to know

:lolol:

Enjoy your golf and I hope it doesn't rain, you know, pour down, so that you get soaked through to the skin and have to go home to get changed before football tonight.

;)

Looks safe enough. We've had a few flakes of snow in Haywards Heath this morning. I'd LOVE to play golf in the snow, that would be a first. But as long as it doesn't rain, thats the main fing.

Going home drenched would be tricky to explain, I must admit.

Tonight i will do my usual drive back to Eastbourne from the game along the A27. I can virtually guarantee that at some point some impatient twat will perform some f*** wit over taking, usually near Firle and Selmeston. Its not a great road and a dual carriage way is necessary but the awful fatality rate on that road is also attributable to idiot drivers as much as anything.

As easy 10 example proves its not your own driving you need to worry about but more the stupidity of others.

if it we're to snow during your golf game Easy, would you have to take into effect the high possibility of Snowflake-Golfball collision thus adding to the Wind direction & strength when striking the ball from the tee?
Also the enhanced risk of loosing said ball thus requiring a special bright Orange ball as seen in Football!

Requires more divulging(sp?) I think!

My house
The Firle straight is a bloody nightmare. Many times cars I've been travelling in have come face to face (almost literally) with some speeding tosser who can't cope travelling at 60mph.

All valid points, Crabbers.
Putting could be tricky in the snow. Especially if the hole fills up as well - how do you sink a putt ? And would I be penalised for scooping out the snow before I putted ? Is that allowed ?

I really havn't given this much thought, have I.

hmm well maybe the weight of the ball would "sink" (there I go again with those damn quotes) the ball enough to say that it had indeed putted. Of course snow the light drizzle may "freeze" the snow so no ball would sink at all...then you would have problems.

Also the grooming of the sandpit after (no doubt) you enter it, what happens with the snow? do you groom that back over aswell? ???
