Ice boulders formed on the Lake Michigan shore on Sunday, February 16, as northern winds caused blowing snow.

Footage from Nate’s Dronography shows chunks of ice on the Lake Michigan shore in Saint Joseph as huge waves crash against the North Pier.

“Massive 12-14 foot waves of ice slam lighthouse,” Nate described. “Huge balls of ice litter the pier as they are chucked onto it by the waves.”

The National Weather Service advised residents to bundle up for the coming week, saying temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing anytime soon.

[Do we need a "WEATHER" category for topics?]

That’s global warming for you…
Typical Trump-supporter comment - it's Climate Change, which is causing more extreme weather around the world; mainly heating-up, with droughts, wild-fires, rising sea-levels, but this does not preclude occasional instances of cold-weather. Globally, we have just seen the hottest January on record.

This is Climate Change/Global Warming in action recently in your homeland - although I guess you'll dismiss it as Woke Fake News, or, like that rambling mental degenerate Trump, blame it on Democrats or EDI.

Personally I wouldn’t be able to notice a 7 inch or so difference in the high tide mark over my lifetime

It’s all over my head really - if you order a pint of coke they fill the glass a third full of ice but when it melts the coke doesn’t spill all over the bar

I assume this is a joke right? There are two things going on.
1. Icebergs are salty water. Salt water acts differently to freshwater when melting
2. Lots of the ice makes its way into the sea when it was previously on land.

Other than that the confusion is understandable.
