I hope to see Leon back in the papers shortly, moaning about being better than a League 1 player. I didn't like the way he went, but the gobby little shite should have kept his mouth shut.

Perhaps the Albion board could take out a full page spread in the local Swansea rag, and dedicate a "ha ha" to Leon?

Like Leon would read the local paper! Better off putting it in the Standard.

Leon Knight admits .

''When I first came here I had to feel my way into the team,'' the 23-year-old remembers.

The signs are that Knight could be paired with Rory Fallon this weekend. ''I think I could play with any of the three," adds Knight.

''Lee, Bayo and Rory all come and face up to the ball, whereas I'm the opposite. I don't think any of them naturally go in behind.''

'I've got no regrets about coming here. Why would I?

And our fans get the gay taunts?

Are you Fashanu in disguise?

I'm loving it...oh happy day... :lolol:

thought i share a few of swansea's quotes from last season with you, particulary some made by one of your ex-players....
-----------------------------------------------
“I, as chairman, have to make sure we achieve our success based on gradual building and try to avoid gambling too soon. Spending large sums of money does not guarantee anything in football. Just look up the M4 for proof of that.” (Huw Jenkins, 4/10/2005)

“We've had a good start to the season and we're like the Man United of this league now.” (Alan Tate, 10/10/2005)

“Cardiff have had a good few years and maybe it's time we got our act together and caught up with them.” (Huw Jenkins, 22/11/2005)

“Lee Trundle may love Everton Football Club, but Swansea City and its supporters love Lee Trundle - there lies the difference. And, who knows? Over the next few seasons we may be playing Everton on a regular basis.” (Huw Jenkins, 7/12/2005)

“As a result of our continued success I am now faced with the position of having to contend with the upward spiral of increased wages and bonuses. Our swift success in reaching the top of League One is matched by an increase in the club's expenditure. Without doubt I now face the most challenging period as chairman of Swansea City. Clubs like Ipswich, Derby, Leicester and our little brother in the Welsh capital show us what can so easily go wrong.” (Huw Jenkins, 4/1/2006)

“It was terrific to see Brighton go down. I was absolutely delighted that they got relegated. You cannot understand how happy I was. But I don't want to be playing them next season. Hopefully, we can leapfrog them as they come down.” (Leon Knight, 20/4/2006)

“Hell no, I don't want to go back to that shoebox (the Withdean Stadium). I heard their captain Charlie Oatway saying it was bad that I was happy when they got relegated but when I left there I didn't hear anything from them saying good luck. In all honesty I think they will stone me if I went back to Brighton. Anyway, hopefully we won't have to go there next season.” (Leon Knight, 21/5/2006)

“You have to be able to hold your nerve in a play-off final and not let the occasion get to you. It's about being mentally strong but I will play as if I'm with my mates down the park. It's no disrespect to the opposition or the occasion but that's how I'll handle it. I'll just try things and hopefully they'll come off. They usually do.” (Leon Knight, 21/5/2006)

“My aim is to get into the Championship with Swansea and become a bigger club than Cardiff City. When I played at the Millennium Stadium for QPR against Cardiff, they had 35,000 fans and that was on their doorstep. But I look at Swansea and we've already sold 32,000 tickets and they're still selling, so in my eyes, I think we are bigger. Full stop. We've got a better ground and hopefully, touch wood, if we beat Barnsley, then we'll be in the Championship and you will see who has the better team. And I think at the end of the day that we've got a better team and the better fans.” (Kevin McLeod, 26/5/2006)

Just found it a tad of an odd statement.

I thought the good fan / bad fan thing was wrong on here these days.

But then you have made your Leon issues very clear.

Poor old Bucky, hes so used to being insulted he's impervious to abuse. A few insults by Leon the Peon wash right over him.
