Hypothetically, who would you prefer to see staying at the end of today?

Well?

I hope neither of them leave, but if you had to choose one to stay, who would you choose?

Liam Bridcutt- One of the best and most consistent players to play for us in years. Would be virtually impossible to replace given the transfer window closes today and I think we'd be in big trouble without him.

Gus Poyet- Has turned us from league 1 relegation candidates to Championship play off contenders in a couple of seasons, playing much better football than we've seen for a long, long time.

NSC decides.

Gus, players come and go but a decent manager is like gold dust. If we could keep him for another 10 years we'll be battling for Europa positions regularly

The manager is the most important individual at a football club - we are very lucky to have one of the best young coaches in the country.

Liam. Think there are plenty of decent potential replacements out there for Gus. Not so many for Bridders

Liam - Gus can leave at any time, the transfer window doen't extend to the manager

How soon is now?
Whilst Liam has been fantastic for us this season, one player doesn't make a team. GP has moulded this team to play his style of football, and Liam is a big part of it. Losing GP could kill the good work that's been learnt on the pitch very quickly. Look at what's happened at Palace since Freedman left. Same players....

Definitely agree with the first sentence, would like to believe the second, but not entirely convinced considering the scale of the opposition for those places

I am yet to even consider alighting the Gus Bus, so for me it's tickets please and drive on for year to come......

Don't really care as both will be leaving us eventually anyway! But I think Gus leaving today would be more disruptive to our chances of getting to the playoffs this season. The team should be able to adapt to Liam leaving.

Exactly the right answer. Our League One promotion season is proof of what a quality manager can do with a group of players who are not realistically expected to achieve to any great means. We've had plenty of managers, none in recent times that have had the impact Gus has...
