Chapmans is correct, i saw it on ANANOVA last night...

But does injury stand by mean they stay with their clubs until they are needed and if they are needed by England then they go off and we use the named replacement... Just like what happened when Kirtley didn't get picked and he replaced the named player? So we may get a day out of him if thats the case...

I think it means that he can be sent back on thursday morning if he isn't needed meaning he might only miss one day. Its raelly getting on my tits ( can we say that ) that James is being picked in squads, put on stand by etc but seemingly will never be given a decent chance to stake his claim. Its also annoying as this is the biggest game of our season and probably for a few seasons and our main bowler is being pulled around by England and the Ace picked up an injury so close to the game. Hopefully Taylor can recapture hat trick form against the Surey chumps.
