its amazing that the British have a 100+ year long history of always complaining about the weather. Either its too cold or too hot. We dont know how lucky we are in this part of the world. If earth is in the goldilocks zone from its star (the sun!) then Britian is in the goldilocks zone for the most tolerable weather on the planet.

Massive devastation news only now coming out as communication only just starting to come up again, the very short time from tropical storm to Hurricane level 5 meant no real prevention/protection was possible. Destruction of some iconic hotels awful - if anyone has stayed at the Princess only bricks & mortar left.
