Do we have an idea of numbers? And what do you lot reckon the chances of it eventually being POD?

Allocation will be approx 2,500.

First proper game of the season, exiles up north, first chance to see new signings should mean we take around 2,000

Swindon Tuesday before in the cup which will be first competitive game of season & easier to get to should mean 1000 tops at hull

I think it will be around 2k, depending on any other signings i guess. I managed to book a rare Saturday off work, so i'll be going...providing we don't sign Messi and sell our allocation!!

Depends on how many we pre-sell , if that is 1,000+ there could be another 400+ who will POTG. We will only achieve c2,000 if the new striker and midfielder are on the Gus Bus.

I am going on my own but very very excited!

Hehe...i seem to do that whenever i travel away! Probably because i usually decide at the last minute...i don't mind though, i usually see a few familiar faces either on the way, or at whatever ground were at.

IMHO the KC is one of the nicer looking new stadiums in the Championship, and with its sloping roof is not unlike the Amex.

However inside it is not as plush as 'ours'. The pitch was terrible last season because it is also used by the egg chasers. Hopefully it will be ok being first game of this season.

The KC is about 25 mins walk from the main station or only 5 mins drive from the motorway. There is good car parking on site but the road by the stadium does get gridlocked so is advisable to make a sharp exit at the final whistle if you don't want to get stuck in traffic. Alternatively there is a choice of food outlets and pubs in the area if you are happy to let the crowd disperse.
