This evenings draw means our league fixture at their place has now been postponed as its on the 4th round weekend, so a poor draw and means we have to play them in the League away on a Tuesday

I'm sure I saw this had been posted somewhere else already

On the plus side, more time to get Bong and Rosenior back for a toughie.

Not necessarily.

Bong's injury is expected to be longer lasting than end of January.

Why would the away league fixture on the 30th of January be postponed because we are due to play them on the FA cup 3rd round weekend of January 8th -10th? (we don't have a league fixture that weekend because we would be in the FA Cup as it's the first round that we play in and can't have been knocked out yet)

Because either Hull or us will be in the fourth round?

30th January is 4th round weekend, one of the teams will be playing in the cup that weekend.

Just about the most annoying draw we could have in that sense. Let's hope the fixture gets re arranged reasonably soon afterwards as we don't want another difficult north east fixture towards the end of the season. Better to get it out of the way. Annoying.

Fifth round day could be an issue too for those of you booking train tickets etc.

Cardiff, who we play away on 5th round day are at home in the third round to the winners of Grimsby and Shrewsbury, so more than likely they'll be in round 4minimum.

Could have both Hull away and Cardiff away midweek.

I was actually scrolling through this one and was going to say 'I can't believe no one has said this'.

But true to NSC form, of course they had!!!
