And his thinking when buying in the summer will be how can he buy better defensive players instead of resolving the main issue which is at the other end.
And you know this, how exactly?

How do you know kayal was a hooton signing?
No doubt we are paying half of best's 35k a week wages and we know hooton knows and signed best surely?
That's another issue as we never seem to know who finds our players anymore
Yeh, right! Good to have someone on here who knows what the summer recruitment plans are. Perhaps you can drop a few insider-knowledge hints about who we're after? And his thinking when buying in the summer will be how can he buy better defensive players instead of resolving the main issue which is at the other end.
anyone wanting Hughton sacked has lost touch with reality in such a profound way that I haven't the words to describe them.
This thread, and the OP, are a disgrace. Not necessarily in that order. Stupid thread and anyone wanting Hughton sacked has lost touch with reality in such a profound way that I haven't the words to describe them.
Let's not kid ourselves....The squad isn't as poor as many are making out and it really is a mid table squad. The sad thing is hooton has made these players even worse and the results have been dog shite and won't even go into the dire goal scoring efforts of late.
Get rid as he's useless and worse than hyppia
How long of a token gesture should HughTown have given Tilley? To be fair a lot of fans found the Tilley substitution, with 5 seconds to go on the clock, less than a convincing, and the radio commentary backs up this feeling. They were as puzzled about this as anyone, so it inevitably raises questions about his decision making.
I have found most teams in the Championship are based on a solid defence with the intention of scoring goals on the break. That seems the way of football these days. Our problem has been the absence of quality in the final third, both in creation and scoring. Hughton is no different than most other managers. The famed Norwich beat us but had less possession and less shots on target.

5 seconds, 5 minutes, 5 hours doesn't make any difference.
0-0 away to 3rd top place club is a good result really.
Not sure why there is so many negative comments.
Next season we will have new players, old players leaving.
Job done relegation avoided.
Give the guy a chance for a few months at the start of next season.
0 seconds would have been better than 5.
Perhaps it was about preparing a young player for the match day situation. It's a bit different playing in front of 30,000 than 50 and it has registered an appearance if bigger ( there are bigger clubs than the Albion believe it or not ) start sniffing round him.
He doesn't go to games.Do you seriously think he's worse than Hyypia? Seriously? Were you at Derby or the Millwall home game? Points per game under Hyypia, we've have gone down. We've stayed up quite comfortably in the end. It's post like this that make you realise how clueless our fans are. No team can be mid table with the strikers we have. The rest of the squad is mid table probably but with strikers who can't score, you're very likely to go down and Hughton's ensure we haven't. He's done his job!
They are called bedwetters and rightly so.My brother-in-law is a Geordie. There are plenty of Mags who wouldn't mind CH right now to steady the ship and keep them up (just like he has just done with us).
I am more than happy to give Chris a fair crack of the whip next season. This is assuming he is given the funds to buy some decent strikers.
I have noticed, over the years on NSC, that the usual posters would sack our manager half a dozen times a season. These people would have sacked Alex Ferguson by Christmas in his first season.
