How does one download the new jelly bean? I've got lost in a sea of websites with techies arguing amongst themselves.

I think you'll have to wait until your service provider makes it available at which point your phone should pick it up automatically.

By the way, in a resolution to the original question I opted for the HTC OneX+ in the end, I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I'm very happy with it. No issues or glitches, it's done everything I've thrown at it without problem and with a surprisingly good battery life as well.

I'm sure the SIII is a cracking piece of kit in its own right but I'm definitely happy with my choice and would recommend it to anyone.
