How’s the Fabian Hürzeler mojo-meter after 11 games?

Jury still out?
Warming to him?
Convinced?

Absolutely love him!

We’re 4th after 11 games and those 11 games include Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle for gods sake! That’s not been spoken about enough on here or in the general media just how hard our start has been.

It’s an astonishing start from him really!

Ok - answering my own question

I think FH’s ability and confidence to make changes against a top world class team during a match is really impressive but he’ll be rightly judged on where we finish this season.

I’m a cagey optimist - not seen the sort of football yet I enjoyed under RDZ’s first season- it’s still bitty against lesser teams but he’s building a good team.

Convinced he was the right choice for us still but I don’t feel relaxed - so many fine margins in the Premier league - the middle of the table is really tight and agree with @Thunderbolt - we are still a bit shallow if we start piling up injuries again.

Disagree he should be judged on position this season. He's young and learning and I expect ups and downs. I want to see progress and him developing the skills for a long successful career. All the signs are positive so far but there will still be blips like Wolves and Chelsea on the way.

I agree to an extent but I think that will depend on where we finish.

A long way to go but very much doubt bar another season of atrocious injuries, we’ll have anything to worry about. 😉

The first half against Liverpool was one of the best 45's we've played.

We've also had some incredible moves in attack and we look far better defensively which is huge.

As I've said previously, new, young manager, new club, new country, new (higher level league), new team, new players , lots of young players, also playing in a new team and new league. It's been bumpy at times, but has to be expected. Anyone who's expectations are higher are unrealistic imho.

Every week I've seen improvement somewhere. In the players, the manager, the team. All positive for me...

It's a bloody scandal that it appears (unless I've missed it) that there isn't a FH song. New manager, new country - doing an amazing job, come on let's make him feel wanted. And Goddamit someone start a Baleba song to I'm a believer.
I'd like to "like" this more than once. Nailed it.
