How would you react IF SC turned Reading down

I know its not likely, but at the moment there is still the possibility that he could be sitting next to Dick Knight in the North Stand at 3.00 on Saturday..........................

I still think he wasn't offered the job. We know he went for the first interview and turned down their first offer.

He also had a second interview with a different offer. I don't think that offer had been confirmed over the weekend.

If he turned them down then I would applaud him for doing the decent thing. (A big if, I know)

But Tinx theres nothing to suggest the wait is because hes umming and arrring over it, his decision may be in and its Reading looking for a replacement thats holding a formal anouncement !!

Bizarre bunch, some of you!

Coppell has already decided that he would prefer to manage Reading than Brighton. Why go and have talks with a club that you don't want to manage?

Surely that must rile you enough?

If he doesn't go to Reading, it'd be because we can't offer him enough reassurances for the demands that he'd want. Not financially, but as financial backup should anything go wrong while he'd be in management at Reading.

He has already decided that he'd prefer to move on, so I wouldn't be that happy, from your point of view!

But if he stayed with BHA then there's every chance that you could continue as you left off. Though you would know that he is prepared to jump ship at any such opportunity...

I think the word is "hmm..."

I'd be a little dissapointed he even entertained the idea of leaving... but then again I look at the world through rose coloured glasses sometimes and dream that all people are loyal and take business deals in a gentlemanly fashion.....

I've lost a lot of respect for the bloke. This will he won't he go saga has been a shambles! As good a manager as he is, he could have saved us a lot of anguish by just making his mind up days ago. Between Coppell, Dick Knight and Madjeski the whole afair has been deeply insulting to us the fans.
